Great Trademark for Italian GDO and Shops; but also for foods, coffee breaks,restaurants, tourist services.
We have linked together two words, two courtesy forms of the Italian spoken and written language, "grazie" (thanks or thank you) and "prego" (you’re welcome); two expressions of a so wide use to let them become highly referable signs to Italy and to Italians in the world. It often happens indeed that "grazie" and "prego" are among the fewest Italian words mastered by the foreigners who do not speak our own language. Therefore, as said above, these two interjections together turned into a brand because provided of a goodwill.
Although it has a strong Italian mould, GraziePrego™ is also enjoyable abroad, because it appears easily legible and memorisable at a psycholinguistic level as if "grazie" and "prego" are closely knit and is the natural extension of the other.
From the point of view of its availability for spending, GraziePrego™ is an extensive trademark; it can be mainly used in the food sector to identify exactly foodstuffs coming from Italy (see the pay-off paragraph), but it lays itself well open to become part of the restoration service channel if only on the motorway restaurants or cafes, etc.).
In the last resort GraziePrego™ could be the right trademark for large-scale retail trade (as supermarket.etc.).
Juridically speaking, as far as the distinctivity of a trademark is concerned, GraziePrego™ is a protectable trademark, because even if these two words are common use in the Italian language, its combination is unusual. The addition of the graphic part (see the Graphic processing paragraph) raises its distinctivity and its protection opportunities. Moreover GraziePrego™ trademark is free in all the Internet domain extensions (.it and .com) and in the databases of the national and international trademarks.
