The minimum age is 25 years old, physically fit and in good health, without any previous medical problems, drugs and alcoholism; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (30 kg) on a daily basis and able to work a minimum of 10 hours a day, 7 days a week; must have a valid passport; is required advanced culinary skills, leadership experience, minimum 10 years of experience in the profession (Quality Hotels and Restaurants); must be able to read and speak English clearly for clear definitions to his subordinates, interpreting documents, such as recipes and manuals. Other languages are considered a surplus. In addition, the candidate must be a serious professional and very proud of his work. Adherence to the rules and regulations of the company, is a must for success at work; he must have a pleasing personality and courteous, presentable and well cared for.
   
job description:  

Apollo Ship Chandlers, catering company for 2 cruise lines is recruiting staff for its Italian restaurants. In particular, research 10 executive chef, offering a fixed-term employment contract/seasonal and full-time. It also offers accommodation and the expected date the job start immediately. Salaries will be discussed during the interview. The executive chef ensures the efficient operation of all food production areas; constantly analyzing cost and quality of food production, knowing to manage within his set budget and adhere to time management. He assures on-going training and that the high standards set by the Corporate Offices are followed. He assures safe, quality food products and complete guest satisfaction. Responsible for implementing and maintaining all standards set by the Corporate Office. The candidate must be responsible and accountable for the quality, taste, and preparation of product to company standards; must designate specific responsibilities to key Management Personnel who work under the direction of the executive chef: chef, sous-chefs, pastry chef, pantry chef , provision master and all other head cooks; prepare the weekly schedule for the galley staff, designating special duties, cleaning duties and time off; ensure and enforce the Recipe review program is followed through by the CDP’s and head of sections; both the culinary check list and recipe review must be attached to the culinary package for office review; enforce the usage of the Culinary Check List; visits the various food preparation stations and does random food tasting to ensure quality and standards; keeps in direct communication with the Provision Master in order to manage the weekly inventory. Must get a list of non-moving and fast-moving items and take necessary measures.
